In accordance with HPCSA Ethical Guidelines on the Use of AI (Booklet 20, November 2025), patients are informed of AI use and may opt out of AI-assisted processes at any time without loss of access to services. AI tools used by iScript are validated for use in the South African clinical context.

Telehealth consultations are billed in accordance with NHRPL tariff codes and are covered by most registered medical aid schemes for eligible conditions. iScript does not issue Schedule 6 medications via telehealth-only pathways. In emergencies, please call 10177 (EMS) or go to your nearest emergency department. iScript services are not a substitute for emergency care.
