A structured medical consultation with a registered practitioner — not a chatbot, not a form. A clinician who listens and examines your case.
E-prescription
Electronically issued and valid at Clicks, Dis-Chem, MedCity and independent pharmacies, including chronic medication where appropriate.
Medical certificate
Issued in the correct HPCSA-compliant format. Sick notes up to three days may be issued by any of our practitioners; those longer than three days are issued by a Medical Doctor, in line with HPCSA rules and Notice 1390 of 2016.
Lab referral
Pathology referrals to Ampath, Lancet or PathCare for blood, urine or swab tests when clinically indicated.
Specialist referral
A referral letter to a registered specialist — cardiologist, dermatologist, gynaecologist, psychiatrist and more.
7-day follow-up thread
Message your practitioner for seven days after your consultation with follow-up questions about the same problem.
What is issued depends entirely on your clinical picture. Your practitioner decides what is appropriate — nothing is guaranteed in advance, and medication is only prescribed when it is clinically indicated.

Face to face over a secure video call. Best when your practitioner needs to see something — a rash, swelling or how you are breathing.
Phone consultation
A straightforward voice call. Light on data and reliable where signal is patchy — useful in rural areas and small towns.
Chat consultation
Text-based and asynchronous. Suited to non-urgent queries, repeat scripts and follow-up questions between shifts.

iScript works with all major South African medical schemes. Many patients use a savings account or an insured benefit to cover the consultation fee.
No medical aid? Cash consultations start from R299, and you see the fee before you confirm anything.
