The process

Four steps. It ends with a doctor, not a checkout.

01

Step 01

Private questionnaire

A few minutes · Free

Answer honestly, on your own, with nobody watching. Symptoms, history, current medication and lifestyle.

02

Step 02

Clinical review

Before you speak

A practitioner reads your answers first, so the consultation starts with the context already in place.

03

Step 03

Bloods, if indicated

Only when needed

Testosterone, PSA, glucose, lipids or an STI panel through Ampath or Lancet — requested only where it changes the answer.

04

Step 04

Your consultation

Secure video or chat

You talk it through with an HPCSA-registered practitioner and leave with a plan you understand — treatment, further tests or a referral.

Clinical honesty

A consultation is not an order form

Your practitioner will check blood pressure, cardiovascular risk, chronic conditions and everything you are already taking before recommending anything. Sometimes the right outcome is a treatment. Sometimes it is bloods, a referral, or changing something you are already on. We do not guarantee outcomes, and we do not sell medicines.

What we help with

The things men tend to put off.

Erectile difficulty

Assessed properly — including the cardiovascular and metabolic causes that sit underneath it — before any treatment is discussed.

Low energy and testosterone questions

Fatigue, low mood, poor recovery and loss of drive have many causes. Where indicated, hormone bloods are requested and interpreted in context.

Prostate and urinary symptoms

Weak stream, waking at night, urgency. Screening and assessment, with referral to a registered urologist when that is what your case needs.

Premature ejaculation

A common and treatable concern. Behavioural and medical approaches discussed openly, without embarrassment.

Hair loss

Pattern hair loss assessed clinically, with medical and topical options considered where appropriate and monitored over time.

Sexual health and STI testing

Discreet testing through Ampath or Lancet, confidential results, and treatment where needed.

Prescription medicines are dispensed only where clinically appropriate, following consultation with a registered practitioner. iScript Health does not advertise or promote specific prescription medicines to the public.

Worth taking seriously

Erectile difficulty is often an early warning about your heart.

The arteries that supply the penis are narrower than the coronary arteries. When the lining of the blood vessels starts to fail, it frequently shows up there first — which is why erectile difficulty is treated clinically as a vascular symptom, not just a sexual one.

In cardiology research, erectile dysfunction has been observed to appear roughly two to three years before the onset of angina, and three to five years before a major cardiovascular event (Montorsi et al., European Urology). It is one of the few symptoms that arrives early enough to do something about.

That is the case for a proper consultation rather than a pill bought online: blood pressure, glucose, lipids and medication review, not just a script.

It is also common. The Massachusetts Male Aging Study, one of the largest community studies of its kind, found some degree of erectile dysfunction in 52% of men aged 40 to 70 (Feldman et al., Journal of Urology, 1994). If you are dealing with this, you are firmly in the majority.

Why men use iScript

Nothing about this has to be public.

In their words

From men who finally booked

"I had been putting it off for two years. The whole thing happened from my flat on a Tuesday night. The doctor asked about my blood pressure before anything else — that told me it was serious medicine."

Sipho N.

Pretoria · iScript patient

"What I wanted was to not sit in a waiting room with my neighbours. What I got was a proper consultation and bloods I should have done years ago."

Riaan v.d. Merwe

Bloemfontein · iScript patient

"No lecture, no awkwardness. He explained what was likely causing it, what we would check, and what the options were. I understood the plan when I put the phone down."
